Hello, my name is Frank Lloyd Rice. I am multimedia art student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison with an expected graduation date of May 13, 2021. I am currently seeking full-time employment as a multimedia designer.

My background studies and professional experiences in photography, fine art, and graphic design influence my ability to provide a wide range of technical web and graphic design services. I am passionate about finding simple solutions to complex design problems, whether they are in the real world, on the web, or a part of social media. Since high school, I have sought out design challenges and freelance projects. These projects, along with my studio course assignments, have allowed me to gain valuable experience, as well as to learn how to work seamlessly with clients and teammates.

I am most proud of a recent graphic design and website project for the Tinsley Equipment Company, which spanned many months. I lead the design process starting with a logo, then graphic design pieces that included business cards and brochures, and finishing with a responsive company website. The project was so involved that I recruited some of my classmates to provide additional design work. This allowed me to get the project done on time, without sacrificing quality.

I enjoy being involved in my community and have volunteered as an aid for an art teacher at a local elementary school. I also try to assist freshman design students, which led to me receiving an award for scholarship and mentoring from my college last fall semester. I believe that giving back and helping other people contributes to greater good and provides additional life lessons and learning experiences.
